Premier League! Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger Finally Reveals The Real Reason He Dropped His Expensive Striker Lacazette vs West Ham

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has explained why he named Alexandre Lacazette on the bench, for their 0-0 draw at West Ham on Wednesday night.

Lacazette only came off the bench to make a cameo appearance in the 83rd minute of the encounter.

Olivier Giroud took his place in the starting XI after his heroics last weekend, in which he scored Arsenal’s equaliser in their 1-1 draw with Southampton.

When asked why Lacazette was overlooked for the trip to the London Stadium in his press conference on Friday, Wenger responded: “Because of rotation.

“He recently had a groin problem and I didn’t want to push him too much. I don’t feel it like that [he was dropped] – he was rested.”

Jack Wilshere made his first Premier League start of the season for the Gunners in Stratford and when asked if the midfielder will play more in the weeks to come, Wenger said: “I don’t know yet.

“I rotate a little bit at the moment. We play four games in basically nine days so I will assess a little bit how everybody recovers.”

Biafra: We Do Not Support IPOB – British Government

The British government has opened up on the agitations for Biafra, Restructuring and the Indigenous people of Biafra(IPOB) group, stating that they do not support IPOB or Secessionists.

The British government maintains that it would not support any activity that will lead to the break-up of Nigeria. The British high commissioner to Nigeria, Paul Arkwright during a visit to Joy 109.1 FM in Jos, had this to say;

“We are in favour of a united Nigeria; we do not support IPOB, we do not support secessionists.

Equally, they have a right to be heard because the constitution provides for freedom of expression, even as restructuring is going to be a major factor in the 2019 elections.

Although I do not know how exactly the restructuring will look like, I am sure that it is going to be a major determinant in the 2019 elections.”

The statement said further that, since 2011, the U.S. Government has spent more than $420 million to control malaria in Nigeria. Over 50 percent of U.S. Government funding for malaria goes into procuring and distributing insecticide-treated bed nets, malaria diagnostic kits, and malaria medicines.

Do You Think Davido And Wizkid Will Do A Collaboration In 2018 ?

So we all know the rift that is between Davido and Wizkid when it comes to music, these duo have never been on good terms in the history of entertainment in Nigeria. It is like saying the opposite of Wizkid is Davido and Vice Versa.

Towards the end of 2017, Wizkid and Davido has been sweeping entertainment awards like it’s their right, both locally and internationally, that even drew the attention of dignitaries in Nigeria to congratulate these guys, so we can confidently say they are doing well individually.

But what baffles me is that these guys behave like “arc enemies” & sometimes these young lads take selfies together, board same flight and share pictures of them all smiling and laughing with each other, or could this be publicity stunt ?

Davido even came out recently to make it clear to everyone that he isn’t in any fight with anybody. In his words ‘I no dy fight anybody ooo!’. He said it shortly after claiming the future award for Music 2017.

Now if they can be strong individually in the entertainment sector, imagine them coming together and dropping a single, Mehnnn! This sure will be a banger.

….so the question is :

Do You Think Davido And Wizkid Will Do A Collaboration In 2018 ?

See Wetin Baba Fadeyi Dey Enjoy” – Online Trolls React To Toke Makinwa’s Cleavage-Baring Photos

These cleavage-baring photos of Media Personality Toke Makinwa has since caused a stir among her followers on social media.

The beautiful author took to her Instagram page to share the pictures from the Ciroc photoshoot but her followers and fans have reacted negatively to the photos as they believe its not right for her to wear such outfit.

A follower even mocked her saying; “see wetin baba fadeyi dey enjoy.” Recall, Toke Makinwa was reportedly accused of dating 70 year old billionaire, Mr Festus Fadeyi.

At first, their fears were deemed unfounded by family friends, close and distant relatives, but ever since their father completed his sprawling mansion in Ikoyi, the children have become very worried about the possibility of seeing Toke hop in the master bedroom with their father.

Fadeyi’s children are very angry with the way he splurges on his love interest, Toke. They believe he is squandering too much money on her at a time he is heavily indebted to Skye Bank.

Recall that the well-heeled founder and CEO of Pan Ocean Corporation, an indigenous independent oil firm, acquired a multi-billion naira loan from Skye Bank. His indebtedness to the bank is estimated at N196 billion few months ago.

Notwithstanding, Fadeyi spends extravagantly on Toke. For instance, he allegedly bought her a brand new Range Rover 2016 model worth over N50 million.

He is also responsible for her acquisition of top of the line and very expensive designer bags, shoes and apparels. From Louboutin, Bottega, Chanel, Louis Vuitton to Hermes among others, Fadeyi spoils Toke silly with the most pricey ware.

Thus the world’s most expensive designer brands are mere names on Toke’s list. The popular social media big girl considers Selfridges and Harrods as ordinary shopping points at the moment.

Whenever she visits London, United Kingdom (UK) via business class or first class flights paid for by Fadeyi, she spares no expenses at the city’s posh shopping points.

It is very interesting to note that Fadeyi foots such outrageous bills for Toke while he wallows in loan debt to his bank. What Fadeyi’s children find alarming however, is Toke’s continual neglect of her lover’s precarious financial situation.

Consequently, they have declared war against her, warning her to leave their father alone. Frightened by the undisguised animosity, Toke has resorted to extreme measures to avoid their wrath or unpalatable encounters with them. For instance, she now tries to steal around town incognito by covering her vehicle’s number plate with leather.

Although the “On becoming” author has not come out to debunk these rumors.

City are flying high 11 points clear atop the Premier League after winning 16 of 17 games, including Sunday’s Manchester derby.

Guardiola’s side host Tottenham Saturday and another victory would put them 21 points ahead of Spurs.

“Tottenham I think is, with Chelsea, the best team in wanting to play football,” the Spaniard said, in quotes reported by the Mirror.

“They don’t expect the other ones [to play], they want to make their own game, and it is another amazing test for us three days after playing Swansea.

“After, we have Leicester in the Carabao Cup. There is not too much time for recovery but we are ready to face Tottenham and keep that level that we showed in the last period.”

City have scored 52 goals in 17 league games this season, earning praise for their style, while Mourinho’s United have been criticised for their approach despite sitting second.

Mbappe Did NOT Sign At Real Madrid Because Of Cristiano Ronaldo’- Diego Maradona Claims

Real Madrid passed up the opportunity to sign Kylian Mbappe ahead of PSG because of Cristiano Ronaldo’s presence at the club, Diego Maradona claims.

Mbappe, 18, helped fire Monaco to the Ligue 1 title last season and was linked with several clubs including Real, PSG, Barcelona and Manchester City as a result.

Goal revealed in June that Real held talks with Monaco to sign Mbappe, 18, before the teen sensation secured a move to PSG on an initial loan with the obligation to make the move permanent for £166 million.

Argentina legend Maradona has since revealed that he personally told Real president Florentino Perez to sign Mbappe, who he has hailed as the “revelation of football”.

However, Perez suggested Ronaldo’s presence at the Santiago Bernabeu was one of the main reasons why Real did not land Mbappe, according to Maradona.

He told AS: “For me, Mbappe is the revelation of football. I think he can surpass many.

“Why did they not sign him? I told Florentino to sign Mbappe. I told him when we saw each other at Fifa.”

And when asked about Perez’s response, Maradona replied: “He told me…’but you know I have Cristiano’.”

Mbappe has scored 10 goals in all competitions for PSG so far this season with Unai Emery’s men top of Ligue 1 and through to the Champions League last 16.

The French giants take on Ronaldo’s Real in the first knockout round of Europe’s premier club competition.

Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger Speaks On Mesut Ozil’s Proposed Move To Manchester United

Arsene Wenger insists Mesut Ozil will not join Manchester United in January, but he has refused to rule out the possibility of the Germany international leaving Arsenal next summer.

Ozil’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign, and he has subsequently been linked with a number of clubs, including Barcelona and Jose Mourinho’s United.

The 29-year-old can negotiate with other clubs from January ahead of a potential free transfer next summer, and Wenger is insistent that Ozil will at least see out his deal at the Emirates Stadium, though he stopped short of denying he will leave.

“How close? I don’t know how close,” he said, when asked if Ozil is close to signing a new deal.

“We have never been approached by Man United anyway so I don’t see why that came up. That is something that has been created. [He’ll stay] until the end of the season, the rest is open.”

Alexis Sanchez’s deal also expires next summer. The Chile international, 28, was the subject of interest from Manchester City in the previous close-season transfer window, but a move fell through at the last moment.

Wenger, though, says he too will complete the season in north London.

“They will all stay,” he said. It’s very difficult for me to tell you as I will analyse every case individually. My wish and my desire is that everybody stays. If you come in and tell me ‘I will offer you this for this player’ I will tell you yes or no.”
